What do I look forward to each week? Well to start off I look forward to seeing my friends. My friends are my rock, they mean so much to me. I truly believe its a blessing that I have the amount I do.There are some kids who don't. When Monday rolls around I plan out everything I'm going to do that week.Just to make sure I know what need to happen and get done.
Basically my weeks consist of softball all week and basketball twice a week. But I also look forward to the new memories I'm going to create with my family. I look forward to those sweet moments where were not down each others throats. Week by week I think what I can to make it count. I say to myself "I'm going to go 100% all the time this week." I say that so I can get better. Also saying that makes my excited just a little bit more. When we look forward to our week, we put more effort to make it the best week of your life.

I think today my free write is going to be about the importance of working out. Now Our bodies are wired a certain way for our needs. Also our body works the best and most efficient when we are healthy and active. When we sit around all day our blood doesn't get pumping and moving. It's not getting exercise. But when we get and walk, run,or workout, we get out blood pumping and we lose calories. Now losing calories sounds bad, but its not.
After we workout we want to just go home, take a shower and sleep. but everyone forgets one very important part. Protein. Protein allows the microscopic tears in our muscles to replenish so that we can be stronger than we were before. proteins are very important in one's diet so that we can have strong healthy bones. At the age of 50, doctor take a test to see how thick or thin your bones are. They want to make sure you have nice thick bones so that when you get older and more impaired you won't break your arm brushing your teeth. Everyone should get active for at least 60 minutes a day to get up with there health. One of my idols in life is Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry, or Steph Curry for short, plays in the NBA and is one of the most well-know players. This season alone his 3-piont percentage is 42.2%. Thats crazy! Thats what I'm working towards. Now in the game of basketball you have n=to not only learn from your mistakes but learn from your teams mistakes, and that means film sessions. Steph curry watches so much film so he can better himself and know what to not do wrong in the next game or practice. Technology is kinda has a part in his life. Now not everyone in the NBA has a college degree. Steph Curry himself doesn't have one. He opted out of college after 3 seasons with the Davidson Wildcats. But he says he wants to go back and finish what he started one day.
The Warriors, the team he plays on, Usually plays on Sundays,Wednesday, and Mondays. So on those days Steph Curry does what he does best and the crowd at the Oracle Arena. On a day to day bases, Steph Curry is constanty making observations on and off the court. He is seeing what he can do to improve his craft. He's seeing if he can maybe make a no look pass to his teammate Klay Thompson. He is constantly making sure he's on the right track to become the best. So far Steph Curry has made history in the NBA. He holds the record for most 3's made in a game. At his college he holds the record for All-time Scoring and many more. He has truly made a dent in basketball today. Finally, when Steph Curry get interveiwed he gets on the news. He is always doing post-game talks with reporters and posts on social media's like Twitter,Snapchat,Instagram,And Facebook. One smile, can start a friendship One word, can start a fight One look, can save a relationship One person, can change your life What is the power of ONE? How can you be that power? We should be asking ourselves those questions everyday. We should be the change in the world so that we can become a better society. About 3 years ago, I started this thing where I'm just gonna smile at random people and see what it does. I did this for a whole year. When I first started I noticed that a smile goes a long way. So then I told myself that I should give people compliments. As I was doing this experiment, not only was I making other people's day, I was also making my day.
The power of one is great. It could change someone's mood in a instant. People today are kinda kept to themselves. Or at least thats what I think. But instead of being kept to ourselves, we should be open and welcome people with a compliment, a smile, or even just a hello. You will be surprised on what just what one small act of kindness can do for someone. We, me, you, could be the change that america has been waiting for. Today I felt like my free write should be about life. Now the thing about life is that it throws us trials and tribulations that we are supposed to overcome. But see we don't always overcome them. Sometimes we say "oh crap let me just avoid this so I don't get hurt." The thing wrong with my generation is that kids and some adults don't like to face our trials and fears head on.
We like to hide from them or even just push the to the side. One thing that we forget is that those trails don't just go away like a text message or snapchat picture. They come back to bite us in the butt. They haunt us until we finally face them. Me, I've learned to face my fears head on. I told myself that if I want to be a better, stronger person I need to look life right in its face and say "I'm not gonna let you beat me." Now yes everyone has there ups and downs and their depressing moments where we think no one cares or no one wants to listen. But I assure you that people want to listen and that you probably have hundreds of people caring for you. Thats what life does. It breaks us down so we can build ourself back up again and become stronger than we were before. We are like sand castle being constantly broken down by the rushing cold ocean waves. But you know what happens next, We build a new sand castle, we make it stronger and more fortified. We take those loses so that we can beat life, so that we can be immune to heartbreak and pain. This generation today needs to learn that trials are nothing to fear and that they are just another wall to jump over. We need to know that they are just merely another race we need to finish. This entry is to all the people I love and who have helped me through my 15 years of living. First I want to start of by saying thank you to my mom and dad. Thank you for adopting me and thank you for everything. Y'all mean the absolute world to me and with out you I wouldn't be in the position I'm in today. Next I wanna say thank to my loving family. My family has been so wonderful and amazing toward me. The energy and vibes I get everyday from them fills my heart with joy. Last but definently not least, Thank you to my friends. Without y'all I probably wouldn't be here today. My friends are the glue holding my life togethor. They mean so much to me and I appreciate every little act of kindness they do for me. Now I could write on and on about how thankful I am for all of them, but it wouldn't mean as much as me saying thank you to them in person. I just want to end this off by saying that life is short and we shouldn't take out friends, family, and riches for granted. We should thank the people we love everyday. This generation is full of riches and technology, but I don't think us kids really appreciate where those riches and technologies come from. Well thats it for me on this entry. Until next time...
